A software company based in Eastbourne came to us with a request to separate an office space with a glass partition and door. The problem we had was that the office had a steel beam running centrally down the room and we had to sub divide across the room.
The easy option would have been to install a solid section across the room and then install the glass partition under it. The client was keen to keep the industrial look of the beam.
Our manufacturer made a small glass panel inside the shape of the beam. We then installed the frame for the door off the edge of the panel which meant we could install a full height glass partition and full height door without losing the aesthetics of the beam.
This was a small but tricky installation made possible by the skill of our installer. We received a great review from our client for a job well done.
Their sister company were looking to install a small training room in the same building. The biggest problem was space and they were initially looking online to purchase office furniture … 12 desks/chairs and a corner desk for the Trainer.
We surveyed the area and it was apparent that more flexibility was needed. We suggested that 12 mobile folding tables would be a better option as the space could be utilised in many different ways. Folded tables could easily be moved into a corner and then fewer tables used for smaller groups.
We supplied a desk for the Trainer along with a bespoke side storage unit using a drawer unit from our standard office furniture range combined with a cupboard from our accommodation range and a flyover single top.
Because space was limited, we opted for a mesh backed fully ergonomic task chair which used less space than a standard task chair.
If you are looking to create one or multiple spaces, a meeting room, office space or breakout area, glass partitions would be a good option for you to consider. Along with glass partitions, we supply office furniture in East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas in the South East, so for more information please get in touch with our friendly sales office.
